Robbery of Arvest Bank Branch in Oklahoma City

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announces the robbery of the Arvest Bank branch located inside Walmart at 7800 N.W. Expressway in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
At approximately 12:10 p.m. on September 21, a black male approached the teller counter at the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. The subject told the teller to give him all her money and nobody would be hurt. The teller complied and the subject place an undisclosed amount of money in a tan plastic grocery bag. The subject was last seen departing the Walmart on foot. No weapon was seen, and no one was hurt in today’s robbery.
The subject is described as a black male, late 20s, early 30’s, 5'7"-5'10" tall, 190 lbs., and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with white emblems on the sleeves and sunglasses.

Although the above surveillance photo does not give a clear view of subject’s face, the red sweatshirt he is wearing is very distinctive and may be recognized by someone.
This robbery is being investigated by the Oklahoma City Police Department and the FBI.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at (405)290-7770 (24-hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individual responsible for robbing a member bank.
