NORTH MERRICK - Officials say 14 students and one teacher in North Merrick are home after being sickened by carbon monoxide inside their school.
The district says a boiler inside the Camp Avenue Elementary school caused the problem yesterday.
Teachers called 911 after students began feeling sick.
Officials say the students are all OK and the school is open for class this morning.
The assistant fire chief tells News 12 he does not believe the school had any carbon monoxide detectors.
