Police say Brett Knight, 45, is the man who was behind Reisner's murder.
Knight was arrested in a Tennessee home and brought back to New York yesterday.
After the September 24 shooting, neighbors told News 12 they heard the gunfire that night and the screams for help.
Knight is now facing second degree murder charges.
Reisner's partner Kevin Murray was also injured that night after he was grazed by a bullet.
Neighbors say Knight used to rent from the couple a number of years ago.
According to published reports, Murray filed a harassment complaint against Knight just last month.
He claimed that his former tenant harassed him and even sent him an anonymous package.
