Yazmin Hechavarria accused of using her daughter to shoplift from Kohl's

FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police say a Bridgeport woman is facing charges for allegedly using her 7-year-old daughter to help her shoplift.
Police say security cameras at the Kohl's on Villa Avenue caught Yazmin Hechavarria taking the tags off several items and then putting the clothes on her daughter.
Police say the mother and daughter were caught with nearly $1,000 in stolen items.

They say the state Department of Children and Families is also investigating.
