The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for
information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of
the person or persons who vandalized two churches in Bozeman, Montana.
The FBI became involved because of the possibility that one or both
incidents may be a violation of civil rights.
The incidents, which appear to be related, occurred in March and April 2013, and no arrests have been made in either case. The Bozeman Police Department and the FBI Bozeman Resident Agency have been collaborating on the investigation and continue to turn to the public for help in the case.

The churches were broken into during the late evening or early morning hours, anti-religious messages were spray-painted inside the buildings, multiple fires were set, and there was significant damage done to property inside.
