SPRINGFIELD - A 25-year-old Union man was arrested Tuesday after he attempted to enroll as a freshman at Dayton High School in Springfield.
School officials tell police that Carl Walden walked into the main office and asked to enroll in the incoming freshman class, despite appearing far too old to be in high school. Officials say he gave the name Jason Burns to the main office. He stands at 6 feet 1 inch tall and is 265 pounds.
After giving him the necessary enrollment information in an effort to make him leave, school officials called police, who arrested Walden off school property.
