Crash at gas station on Route 1/9 in Linden leaves 7 injured

LINDEN - Seven people are injured after witnesses say a speeding car flipped over and triggered a 3-car accident at a Linden gas station yesterday.
The accident happened on the southbound side of Route 1/9. One witness at a neighboring used-car dealership says a speeding Acura cut off another car, then hit a utility pole, knocking it over.
Once the car hit the pole, the witness says the car flipped over and hit a car that was turning into the gas station. That car then crashed into a third car, which was being filled with gasoline.
A gas pump was also knocked over in the incident.
Seven people were taken to area hospitals. At least one was listed in critical condition.
