Newark Mayor Booker casts vote in U.S. Senate special election

NEWARK - Newark Mayor and U.S. Senate hopeful Cory Booker was at a Newark polling station this morning to cast his vote in the special election.
Today is the day for residents to choose who will fill the U.S. Senate seat in New Jersey.
Booker arrived at the Roberto Clemente Shalom Towers on Clinton Avenue just after 7:30 this morning. The mayor is going up against Republican rival Steve Lonegan, who voted in Bogota this morning.

Polls have shown Booker in the lead throughout his campaign, however, he has said all that really matters is what the voters say on Election Day.
