At approximately 10:53 a.m. on December 2, 2013, a man entered the BB&T bank branch at 11113 Parkside Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee. He brandished a silver handgun and demanded money from the bank employees. The subject has been described as follows:
- White male
- 6’0” to 6’02” tall
- Late 20s to early 30s
- 180-200 pounds, medium build
- Brown hair, with a beard
- Wearing a brown Carhartt cap, navy blue jacket, dark pants, glasses
- Armed with a silver handgun
Anyone with information is asked to call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or the KPD at 865-215-7212. A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of this individual.
This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF), composed of the FBI, KPD, Knox County Sheriff's Office, and the KPD Major Crimes Unit.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
