Bail lowered for man charged in fatal I-95 crash

TRENTON, N.J. - (AP) -- A judge has halved the bail set for a 19-year-old New Jersey man accused of driving drunk and causing a fatal crash on Interstate 95 earlier this month.
Luis Delcid-Cardona of Hamilton Township faces two counts of death by auto and one count of causing serious bodily injury in connection with the Dec. 12 crash. But authorities have said the latter charge will soon be upgraded to another count of death by auto.
Delcid-Cardona's bail was set at $1 million shortly after the crash. And while a judge agreed Monday to lower it to $500,000 cash or bond, he remains jailed.
Delcid-Cardona was injured in the crash that killed his cousin and two friends. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
