FBI and El Cajon Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Citibank Robber

The FBI and El Cajon Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Citibank branch located at 402 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon, California, on Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at approximately 2:25 p.m., the Citibank branch located at 402 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, California, was robbed by an unknown male using a demand note. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and presented a demand note for cash that was written on an 8x11 manila envelope. The note threatened the teller with serious bodily injury if the teller did not comply with the robber’s demand. After receiving a sum of money, the robber placed the money inside the manila envelope and exited the bank. The robber may be driving a tan Toyota Tundra or Tacoma pickup truck.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White or Hispanic
  • Build: Small
  • Height: Approximately 5’6’ tall
  • Hair: Dark
  • Clothing: Dark, long-sleeved hooded jacket; white shirt showing from underneath; dark pants; and dark sunglasse
